Celebrate with us, as we officially open our Woodland Walk area. Join us on our celebration day and enjoy: 

  • An entertaining puppet show by the brilliant Mosstroopers
  • Marley the Pit Pony will be on site, make sure to say hello
  • Be amazed by larger-than-life walking butterflies on stilts
  • Take a trip on board a heritage train whilst you're here.

Puppet Shows times:

10.55am - 11.05am
11.50am – 12pm
12.50 – 1pm

Heritage Train times:

Free activities, charge for heritage train rides.

Pre-booking recommended but not essential for train rides.

Thanks to the dedication of our incredible volunteers, a once-neglected patch of land has been transformed into a thriving haven for wildlife, and a welcoming green space where the local community can reconnect with nature.

The newly created Woodland Walk is designed to support biodiversity, enrich the local ecosystem and provide a peaceful, freely accessible conservation area for everyone to enjoy.

Features of the Woodland Walk include:

  • A calming sensory garden

  • A creative art trail

  • A purpose-built outdoor learning lodge for education and exploration.
