About the event
The North Tyneside Steam Railway (NTSR), in association with the Stephenson Steam Railway/Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums, will host the Victor & Vulcan Reunion Gala from Saturday 30 April to Monday 2 May 2022.
During the weekend, the big Bagnalls, Victor and Vulcan, will be alongside each other again for the first time since the 1980s. An intensive timetable including passenger trains and demonstration freight trains will be in operation. Timetables TBC.
Other attractions over the weekend will include a mixture of vintage cars, vintage buses, live music and a model railway display. There'll also be a flag-making activity for young children.
The North East Bus Preservation Trust will be operating a free park and ride service from the car park at the North Tyneside Council Quadrant at Cobalt Business Park to Percy Main, via the museum on Middle Engine Lane.
From 6pm on Saturday, 30 April, a photographic session will give visitors exclusive access to some fantastic photo opportunities. A separate ticket is required for this event.
