Experience the excitement of a brand-new 7 ¼" miniature railway, connecting the museum to ‘Engine House Halt’. Lovingly built by volunteers from the North Tyneside Steam Railway Association during late 2024 and early 2025, this railway is ready to welcome its very first passengers over Easter weekend.
To mark the Grand Opening, join us for an action-packed Easter weekend with an intensive timetable on the miniature railway.
Hop aboard and choose from three incredible locomotives: the steam engine ‘Loki’, the Planet petrol locomotive ‘Kibworth Castle’, and a special guest locomotive – details to be revealed soon.
