Workshop Summary

Children will explore the local history and habitat of Stephenson Steam Railway. They will use photographs of the site in the past to identify how the physical features and history of the Stephenson Steam Railway site has changed overtime. They will take part in sensory based activities to enable them to bring different historical time periods to life. They will visit our woodland walk area and carry out investigations to record the flora and fauna of the site. They will finish off the session by creating their own version of one of the species they find on site using different materials.
