Each workshop lasts for 60 mins with a maximum of 32 students. Please email the learning team: learning@stephensonsteamrailway.org.uk to book this workshop. This workshop can be adapted for KS2 and SEND groups.
Workshop Summary
Develop your engineering skills in this workshop for KS2.
Inspired by the work of George and Robert Stephenson, children will explore materials used in train design and carry out an experiment to test the best shape for train wheels.
This workshop can be combined with the George Stephenson Story workshop to offer a full day of workshops.
