Enjoy weekly creative wellbeing sessions with North Tyneside Art Studio. Come along and get crafty and enjoy a range of art and craft techniques, inspired by the museum and its outdoor areas.

5 February - Divine Chocolate 

Adrinka is an African symbol system which inspires the packaging for Divine's Fair Trade Chocolate. Explore sensory chocolate tasting before exploring Adrinka and design your own symbol.

12 February - Jim Dine Hearts

Explore the work of artist Jime Dine and create a piece of artwork in acrylic, inspired by his work.

19 February - Impressions in Clay

Take a walk in the museum's outdoor area and collect an array of seasonal items to press into clay. Make something to take home, and one to leave on display in our Woodland Walk. 

26 February - Colour Opposites

Explore colour theory in this step by step acrylic painting session and see the effects of using complimentary colours.

10am-2pm every Wednesday.
